"Weight, 4.5 tons; total length, 16.3 feet; greatest diameter of gun body, 20.5 inches; total length of bore, 183.75 inches; number of grooves, 24; weight of charge, 44 to 47 pounds of brown prismatic powder; weight of projectile, 100 pounds; muzzle velocity, 2,080 feet per second; thickness of steel which shell will perforate at 1,500 yards, 7.57 inches; range at 40 degrees elevation, 6.5 miles.
